About

Over the past 24 years, I have worked with clients with a range of issues from depression and anxiety to stress and relationship issues. My clients describe me as approachable, down-to-earth and practical in my work with them. I enjoy the process of exploring what is causing distress and identifying together what needs to be done to resolve those issues, whether that be learning more effective ways of responding or working towards acceptance, or a little bit of both. I believe my clients know best what they need and I am there to guide them in that process.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and mindfulness-based practices frequently. My passion is working with clients who identify as Deaf or hard of hearing, and those who are connected to those communities. I also enjoy working with hearing individual and couples.

I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to see if we are a good fit. I am currently only offering telehealth visits. I am able to provide services to clients who reside in the state of New York. I don't currently take insurance but can accept HSA and FSA payments. A number of low-fee sessions have recently opened at $125/session.
