My name is Donna Reenstra. I believe we all desire fullness of life, purpose and healthy relationships. As a Christian Counselor and Spiritual Director, I also believe that pain and sufferings are a challenge for us to be transformed into a better version of ourselves (Romans 8:28-29) My job is to journey with an individual or couple as we explore how God is leading them to fullness of life, purpose and relationship through their own personal circumstances; to assist in discovering how they may be blocked or hindered; and to promote emotional and spiritual growth. I have been a LIcensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor since 1989. I began professionally in the field of addictiton services and have worked in in-patient and outpatient settings. I continued my education recently and became a Certified Spiritual Director I am a widow, mother and grandmother. Born in a Protestant family, my journey led me to variouos Christian churches, and I spent several years as an Evangelical Christian. Eventually, I was called to the Catholic Faith. I understand both perspectives and appreciate what each taught me.
