I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New Jersey, and I have been in practice for over twenty years. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My work is guided by humanist principles that recognize the person's strengths, lived experiences, resilience, dignity, and worth. I foster people's growth in a therapeutic milieu that offers genuineness, acceptance, support, and empathy. My areas of expertise include working with survivors of intimate partner violence and child sexual abuse. Other areas of my work experience include working with individuals with mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and relationship issues. I use evidence informed interventions such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy and Support Therapy. My clinical approach is sensitive to the language, cultural, religious and educational needs of diverse populations. I'm fluent in English and Spanish.
