Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Hello! Deciding to get help takes courage and a desire to feel better. You are very welcome here. I am a clinical psychotherapist offering both in-person and telemedicine appointments. I have extensive experience in both private practice and acute-inpatient settings. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, grief and adjustment issues around life transitions such as divorce and loss. My work is trauma-informed and mindfulness-based. My approach is practical, realistic and sustainable, so that you can start feeling better soon. Our first session will give you the opportunity to tell me why you came to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. I believe that for most clients there is great relief in saying the problem out loud in a supportive, objective, non-judgmental environment. Together, we will devise a way forward that makes sense and is realistic. My biggest strengths include the ability to give you my undivided attention, to carefully listen to you and my genuine compassion for people who are going through a tough time. We've all been there. My hope is you will come prepared to actively engage in conversation, answer hard questions, and work to feel better.
