Do you struggle with shame, depression, anxiety and self reproach about your compulsive eating? Are you also struggling with general anxiety and depression that is keeping you lonely and isolated even if you are in a relationship? In an empathic, collaborative manner I create a safe environment with a high level of skill, patience and creativity and sense of humor to help you make positive meaningful changes. My strong psychodynamic background is combined with other modalities in an integrated approach. Good therapy should offer knowledge and insight and provide practical tools to help you grow and strategies for coping. A lot of the work I do with eating issues I apply to other issues people struggle with. You will learn to identify what you are really feeling and what interferes with your coping in a healthier way. With therapeutic tools provided you can make the changes you desire. With over thirty years of experience I bring expertise and extensive training to the work. The online therapy that I have done has provided a safe and meaningful place for clients to share their issue. If coming in person to my office is not practical I believe online therapy can be a very viable alternative.
