About

I am a licensed clinical psychologist currently in private practice in NYC. My own personal background of growing up in NYC and having been raised by immigrant parents influenced my chosen career path in psychology. I wanted a profession to help people. By forging a nontraditional path that confronts the common stigma against mental health, I offer shared experiences in an environment that allow people to voice their thoughts and feelings openly without fear. I am trained in numerous clinical models of care but uphold the importance of using an integrative approach of tailoring treatment interventions based on each client's needs.

I provide a safe space to work collaboratively on any issue, including cultural identity, acculturation, inter-generational conflict, job stress, relationship dissatisfaction. I also have expertise working with clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, bereavement, mood disorder, borderline personality disorder.

I believe we all have the power to transform life's challenges and difficulties into opportunities for healing. You are not alone, with the help of a warm, nonjudgmental therapist, you can achieve your goals. If you want to find out whether we fit well working together, feel free to schedule a free 15 mins talk or consultation with me.
