Therapy shouldn’t have to feel like a job interview. It is a space where you are able to discover strengths about yourself that you didn't think existed. I strive to provide a safe, open space for my clients to feel comfortable and as vulnerable as they can possibly be. I have experience in several types of issues, ranging from stress, anxiety, depression, to trauma as well. My goal is to help my clients find the power to understand the control they have over their own problems and empower them to find ways to resolve some of the issues that they face on a daily basis. I provide an eclectic approach to my practice, with an emphasis on cognitive based therapy and trauma informed care. I like to have my client have the power to dictate the course of our session, while providing feedback and challenge some of the negative thoughts they bring into session, along with finding ways to reframe those thoughts into positive ones. You've already made the right choice: coming to find a therapist! There's nothing wrong with seeking help. You've already taken the first step to healing, and I want to help you along that journey. Let's work together!
