Derek "Doc" Sabedra is a Licensed Clinical Profession Counselor (LCPC) with over 23 years of experience in the mental health field. He is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults address their daily challenges and live more productive lives. Dr. Sabedra specializes in depression, anxiety, anger management, school issues, and ADHD. Dr. Sabedra completed his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. He later became the Behavioral Specialist of St. Mary's County Public Schools working with emotionally disturbed children and teens while completing his certification as a LCPC. Each day can be a challenge for children, adolescents, and adults as they maneuver through the daily rigors and challenges of life. Dr. Sabedra can help you explore those challenges and help you gain new perspectives, techniques, and strategies that will allow you to cope with issues that you have been struggling with daily.
