My name is Denice Palacios, I was born and raised in California. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor. I have been in this field for over 10 years, what I have learned in this time, is that humans are remarkable. I work well with individuals needing support with Anxiety disorders, Depressive disorders Substance use disorders, Justice Involvement Problems, Self-Esteem difficulties, Interpersonal difficulties, and Trauma-related disorders. I have been licensed as a social worker since 2018 and my approach to includes behavioral, cognitive, interpersonal and trauma focused therapies. I believe that helping humans view life happenings with various perspectives we can overcome any adversity. I create a culture in my sessions in which individuals can speak their truth. I communicate with kindness, acceptance, respect, and dignity. I can connect with individuals’ personal communication styles. I am mindful on how to approach adversities and help others gain the skills and knowledge to help themselves live a more fulfilling life.
