About

We all have difficult phases in life, which I believe are just that, phases. Relationship challenges, life transitions including being an empty nester can be hard. Solution focused therapy empowers you to evolve into your biggest support. I am experienced with people from all walks of life, belief systems and sexual orientation/lifestyles. I truly belief we are not defined by the way we are in the current habit of living. While change is hard, it is possible and you don’t have to live with obsessive thoughts and actions, debilitating depression, paralyzing anxiety or being chained to substances in order to function.

I also specialize in OCD. I have been trained with an evidence based program that is time limited and proven to be effective. Traditional approaches to OCD treatment are often counter productive and can actually exacerbate the obsessive thoughts and compulsive actions and rituals. I also work with children and adolescents with OCD, depression and anxiety.

I believe when a person feels empowered to navigate their own obstacles, change will occur. I strive to help you clear the cobwebs from your life and understand what works for you and what doesn't. Life can feel overwhelming and confusing at times. Counseling can help find the skills you have within yourself to move through life's challenges successfully.
