Sometimes the struggles of life catch up with us. We can't seem to find our way to clear ground. Finding a therapist and starting the process of therapy can be very anxiety-provoking. It's important you find someone with whom you feel comfortable, who will take the time to listen, really get to know you, empathize with what you are experiencing, and help you find your way. My goal is to assist you in gaining greater insight into the sources of your difficulties so you can live your life more fully. I view symptoms as expressions of deeper issues facing you. Often, when you can understand the source of the symptom, it diminishes in intensity and frequency. I work adults of all ages with a variety of psychological problems. I have a background in lifespan developmental psychology, adult development and aging, and clinical psychology. I have been in the field of psychology for 30 years and in private practice for the last 8 of these.
