I enjoy working with clients who are looking for support in taking the next steps towards achieving the lives they want. My clinical experience includes working with clients experiencing depression, trauma/PTSD, self-esteem issues, attachment issues, and relationship challenges. I work collaboratively with clients, making it a priority to take clients where they are and assist them in identifying where they want to be and what holds them back from getting there. I use a feminist relational, trauma informed, and client centered approach to explore with clients how their history may be impacting their current functioning. I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe, respected and supported. I believe that change, growth and healing can occur when there is trust and no judgment. I have advanced training in sex therapy and trauma informed therapy. I know that a deeply relational and culturally sensitive relationship can bring about dramatic change. Whether you have been in therapy before or you are nervous about engaging in therapy for the first time, I welcome the opportunity to work with you in meeting your goals. I believe that change is possible with empathy, acceptance, and yes, even a healthy dose of humor.
