Therapists » Licensed Professional Counselor
I enjoy working with Clients of all ages and a variety of struggles. I place a strong emphasis on the therapist-Client relationship because I believes it is the key to creating long-lasting change. I work from a person-centered approach that allows the ability to support Clients while they create their own change at their own pace. I go past the symptoms and instead help Clients discover and work through the cause(s) of those symptoms to affect true, positive, and lasting change. I have experience working with a broad range of Clients, including adolescents, adults and older adults. I am particularly focused and adept in treating anxiety, disordered eating, relationship concerns, and LGBTQ+ issues. The style I use combines concepts of Attachment Theory and ACT. In combining these, I assist Clients in attaining emotion regulation and in gaining a feeling of safety and security in connecting to other people. My ultimate goal is to assist the Client in becoming the best version of themself, one step at a time.
