About

Hi there, I'm Deborah Tarrson, LMFT. I have experience working with adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, and relationship issues, and am comfortable working with all of these conditions. I have worked with elementary school students ages 5 through 11 years old in a school setting. I very much enjoy working with children. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic interventions, and Mindfulness. I am familiar with Trauma-informed therapy interventions.

I am gentle, kind, and empathetic. I set a gentle, kind, and patient tone during all of my sessions. I provide a gentle caring presence and am skilled at reflective listening, which allows you to feel seen, heard, and understood. I build rapport to create a safe and trusting environment for you to access and express your feelings, emotions, and truth.

I will greet clients with warm unconditional positive regard to establish rapport and create a safe therapeutic environment. I will ask questions about their history, who they are, and why they are choosing to seek therapy at this time. I will provide empathic reflective listening so they feel seen and heard. Reach out today to get started.
