Are you overwhelmed and discombobulated? Do you hope to work on developing healthier habits to stay strong mentally? I am a compassionate, empathetic, life affirming counselor who believes it is my calling to strengthen individuals, couples and families. I work particularly well with children and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, social issues and depression. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities which include: Trauma focused-Cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-focused therapy (SFT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and Theraplay. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples who have emotional and/or behavioral challenges and I practice within a strength-based, person-centered supportive approach. In addition to being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Professional, and I am also trained as a Custody Evaluator. As a clinician, I work in collaboration with the client to build confidence, end generational cycles, and learn coping skills to enhance all areas of their lives. My aim is to help individuals learn how to relate to others in a healthy way and offer compassionate care for the emotionally wounded. Please note: I am no longer accepting clients in Yadkin Co.
