Adult life is complex, full of many responsibilities and accompanying stressors. Difficulties balancing work and home, communicating with others, tensions between relationships and personal goals and achievements. These complex feelings can lead to anxiety, depression, and feeling overwhelmed. I work with adults in all career settings and relationships, as well as with young adults transitioning from adolescence to college and navigating steep life changes. Together we will examine your early life experiences for insight into who you are and to shape your personal values toward realizing contentment. I relate easily to people from a wide range of backgrounds and in different phases of life. Whether it’s your career, family, relationships, decision-making processes, friends . . . or just your day that has you stuck or down, I will work with you to soften your journey. Together we will build your self-esteem and confidence to enhance your happiness. My personal odyssey to becoming a therapist took me through careers in law, academia, non-profits, government, and hospital work. I’ve been married and divorced. I lost a parent in my 20s. I’ve moved all around the country for my careers. We are all constantly presented with unexpected challenges. Together we will work on your odyssey toward success.
