My mission is to provide effective therapy in the interest of empowering my clients to experience optimum well-being and quality of life. I specialize in client concerns pertaining to relational and sexual health; parenting; assisting families to thrive during times of life transition (such as adolescence, young adulthood, and divorce); and to facilitate the healthy self-esteem, development, and functioning of individuals, couples, and families. My approach takes into account the whole person, including emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual factors. When the inevitable challenges of life arise, we often lose sight of the innate strength we possess. I see it as my task to use a holistic, strength-based approach to help you find your bearings again, reinforcing your true sense of Self, competence, and capacity for love and connection. I am committed to ongoing learning and research, so that I may use state-of-the-art clinical technologies, such as DBT and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, to provide the most effective services possible. I am eager to incorporate spiritual principles into therapy when you wish to do so.
