I am a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience. My approach to therapy is eclectic with a focus on developing a strong therapeutic relationship in which the client feels listened to and understood on a deep level with genuine interest and acceptance. I work with IFS informed framework, as well as relaxation and mindfulness practices of awareness and acceptance. I focus on a person's strengths and resiliency to help them achieve the changes they are looking for. I conduct immigration evaluations for asylum cases, hardship/removal cases, U & T visas, and VAWA cases. I have expertise in working with the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, poor self esteem, grief, and cross cultural issues. I also work with women's issues and domestic violence victims. I adapt my approach to the needs of the patient. Additionally, I conduct psychological evaluations for immigration cases. Often persons consider therapy at difficult times in their lives and can be overwhelmed choosing who to trust with this journey. I encourage you to call me for a free phone consultation to assess your fit with my approaches and areas of knowledge, and your comfort in talking with me.
