It isn't uncommon to find ourselves overwhelmed by the stresses of daily life. Work, relationships and loss can leave us feeling stuck. Thoughts about the past and worry about the future can start to feel all consuming and emotions like anxiety, shame, anger, and guilt can take hold and pervade our life. We are uncertain how to move forward, but we know we need to make a change. It takes courage to begin a process of individual growth and I honor that by providing a space that is compassionate, honest and non-judgmental. I believe therapy is a relationship built on understanding your individual past and working through trauma to help you build new insight as well as greater self-compassion, acceptance & choice. I'm EMDR-trained, trauma-informed and integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches based in experiential, emotion-focused and attachment-based psychodynamic therapy. Most notably though, I’m a lifelong learner, driven to understand the nature of suffering & what alleviates it. My therapeutic approach is designed to offer skills & insights to help you live a richer, more human life, connecting you to yourself and moving you closer to what matters most to you. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
