About

There are times when we all require additional support; someone to accompany you in a time of difficulty or just to improve your sense of well-being. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey between therapist and client, exploring the client's inner world, developing insight, and simply deepening self-understanding using a compassionate and strength-based approach.

My experience includes working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self esteem, stress, troublesome patterns, trauma, life transitions, maternal issues, and family conflicts. I additionally have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders.

Prior to becoming a licensed psychotherapist, I was a Certified Athletic Trainer working with student athletes on the high school and college levels and particularly with college ballet dancers. As a former ballet dancer myself, having danced from age six through college, I am keenly aware of the struggles common amongst artists and competitive athletes.
