Danielle "Dani" Ellis is a counselor, coach, and psychotherapist who helps people having difficulty coping with emotional or behavioral problems that are affecting their happiness and peace of mind. She assists her clients by focusing on resilience, empowerment, assertiveness, and positive actionable change. Treatment is based on a wellness perspective where clients are understood, accepted, and encouraged to focus on their individual uniqueness and strengths rather than identifying with an illness or diagnosis. She helps clients heal from trauma, confront unhealthy habits, develop insight and awareness, and learn new ways to cope. Dani provides individual, couples, and family counseling to clients who are 13 years old and over. She provides care for clients who struggle with anxiety, boundary setting, depression, codependency, as well as, addiction, emotional and behavioral concerns, eating disorders, stress management, and problems of everyday living. Dani has an eclectic therapy approach customized to each client's specific individualized needs, hopes & goals. She believes in being strategic, evidence-based & actively engaged with her clients throughout their care. She challenges and encourages clients to take personal responsibility to alleviate their distress, develop new skills & achieve their goals.
