About

I provide therapy from a whole health perspective. This means understanding the mind-body connection. I want to help you better understand, recognize, process, cope, and heal from challenging emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I use a person-centered approach which means I walk beside you in this journey, not ahead of you or behind you. Whether you are new to therapy or you are experienced with therapy, it can still feel overwhelming, uncomfortable, and hard to be vulnerable when meeting with a therapist and talking about your deepest feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My background is in community mental health, and I believe everyone is entitled to quality mental health care. I use psychoeducation to empower my clients with knowledge regarding their diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment. I empower people to better understand their mental health needs, challenges, and treatment options through a collaborative approach.

Let’s chat more about your fears, questions, or concerns. I offer free initial consultations to those interested in forming a therapeutic relationship. This consultation allows us to meet and decide if your therapeutic needs are a good fit within the scope of services I provide.
