About

People often hear about Complex PTSD and feel that they have finally the words to describe their emotional experience. Trauma comes in many forms and it remains in your body long after the traumatic events have occurred. I help clients learn to understand their past and learn to thrive in the present. I especially enjoy working with PTSD and C-PTSD, first responders, sexual assault survivors, Single Mothers by Choice (SMBC), women navigating infertility-related stress, and neurodivergent adults newly diagnosed with ADHD and/or Autism

I treat trauma using EMDR and a somatic approach to healing. EMDR is proven to reduce trauma-related symptoms more quickly than other forms of talk therapy. With neurodivergent individuals, therapy focuses on learning to love your brain, accept yourself for who you are, identify your strengths, advocate for your needs, and live more authentically.

My first goal is to help you find safety and connection in our work together. My style is warm and engaging, while also being goal oriented and direct. For more information about working with me, please call, e-mail me, or visit my website to schedule your free 15 minute consultation.
