Life is complicated. How we deal with these complications will determine the level of contentment one will have. You may not be the cause of all that troubles you, but you are the only one who can come up with solutions for these problems that will work for you. My job is to help you discover what is the reason for your pain and help you deal with the causes. Each person is unique, there are no cookie cutter solutions. I take a client centered approach to therapeutic interventions to help support you within your particular life situation. I have earned a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from the University of West Georgia, that included an independent study in Human Sexuality, deviations and treatment. To add to my education, I am a Certified Trauma Professional and trained in Trauma-focused CBT, Gestalt, and DBT. I am here to help you identify the problem, discover your strength, and explore viable solutions. This is done in a collaborative, egalitarian relationship, giving the client a safe space to explore what has caused the disturbance. I have availability to see clients within a week of contacting us.
