About

Depression and anxiety are not signs of weakness but can instead be an indication that you have been strong for too long. I am a supportive and compassionate therapist. The collaborative approach between therapist and client brings about the most successful outcomes. I have been told that I am extremely easy to relate to and am never judgmental. My goal in working with clients is to help them to identify what changes they would like to make and together form a plan to implement those changes. Additionally, I will assist you in developing healthier coping strategies.

I have 29 years clinical experience and have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy. I believe Solution-Oriented Modalities to be the most effective. I specialize in treating clients with interpersonal conflicts, relationship issues, mood disturbances, women's health issues, and am LGBTQ friendly.

Developing a trusting Client-Therapist relationship is necessary in order to be successful. I assure you, that you will feel comfortable and safe during the therapeutic process. I have been told that putting even the most apprehensive client at ease is one of my strengths. Improving your quality of life will be my sole focus.
