About

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in substance use & disordered eating, I am dedicated to facilitating life changing goals and personal growth for my clients. My approach centers on empowering individuals to manage distress, enhance self-esteem, cultivate a deeper collaboration of self & body, all while creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment. I am particularly passionate about helping clients break free from self-destructive cycles. I believe that at the core of these issues often lie feelings of trauma, shame, & self-hatred. I utilize a holistic approach to foster healing & build resilience.

Through advanced training in Shame-Informed treatment, somatic psychotherapy, & mindfulness, I help foster a mind/body collaboration. Furthermore, with a background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I employ a range of evidence-based interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client & foster a problem/solution skillset building focus.

I conduct comprehensive psycho-education on mental health, its symptoms and causes, & effective treatment strategies. My goal is to equip clients with the tools they need to develop a positive relationship with their mind, cravings, food, & bodies; enabling them to resolve underlying trauma & shame that fuels self-destructive behaviors.
