About

It is my goal as a therapist is to create a trusting, supportive, non-judgmental relationship with you. I work with adults of all ages, and I focus on your strengths to move you towards your goals. I work with individuals struggling with the emotional and behavioral issues of mood and personality disorders. In addition, I assist older clients navigating major life changes. I also specialize in working with individuals struggling with addictions, addressing guilt and shame and uncovering the root of addiction. Last, I help families learn how to support an individual who struggles with addiction.

Why did I become a therapist? Because after several years in the public sector, I discovered my passion, you may call it a calling, to focus solely on helping others heal from past hurts and make changes for their future. My belief is that each of us has unique gifts, and our life journey is to discover them.

I am the Clinical Director for Cornerstone Counseling Center of Chicago; we have been in business for over 50 years. I am extremely proud of our team, and I am confident that if my schedule does not fit your desired appointment needs, several of our clinicians may be qualified to work with you.
