About

Do you struggle to express kindness to yourself despite easily expressing kindness to others? Do you feel lost and misunderstood in the world? Trapped in cycles of anxiety, depression, and overwhelmed by sensitivity? Do you find relationships confusing, stressful, and difficult to navigate? Do painful memories lead to you feeling unworthy, unlovable, ashamed? You’re not alone. As a highly sensitive person and neurodivergent, I get where you’re coming from - and I have walked alongside many clients who were able to embrace their authentic selves, free themselves from constant self-criticism, and grow into a more compassionate voice.

It is my mission to help you feel safe, heard, in-control, and at home with yourself. I have a special interest working with trauma, anxiety, Highly Sensitive People, and Autistic/ADHD Adults. Together, we will help you become the best version of yourself within a safe, compassionate environment and therapeutic relationship and tailor therapy to your needs.

It is a real privilege for me to serve as a psychotherapist and I would be happy to consult with you to see if we would be a good fit together. I offer telehealth talk and EMDR therapy (a technique to target difficult memories) a weekdays for easy access, from the comfort of your home. To learn more, please visit www.christinemackenzie.com.
