About

All of us experience times in our lives when a little help is needed. Perhaps now, it is a period of time in your life that is emotionally difficult, a death or loss you are grieving, struggles with depression or anxiety, problematic relationships, or just want to work on personal growth. Perhaps you need a sympathetic, nonjudgmental ear with someone whom you can trust. I hope you can find that person in me. I take a very personalized approach using expensive techniques often not found with other practitioners such as EMDR and hold a Fellow of Thanatology from the Association of Death Education and Counseling.

Helping people heal grief has been my life's work. I do not see my work as a psychologist as a job, but rather a career for which I was intended, one of meaning and purpose. I employ a mind/body/spirit approach that honors the unique individual, treating each client with the knowledge that his or her story is distinct from any other person

I offer psychotherapy for grief and trauma, and many other emotional difficulties, as well as grief groups. If you are interested in attending a grief group, please contact us. If I'm not able to accept a client, a referral is available for other exceptional therapists in our practice. I also offer telehealth services in CA and many other states.
