About

The essence of my counseling approach is that I know each person to be whole and unique regardless of what is currently being experienced. I help clients focus on areas of difficulty with kind acceptance. Knots of anxiety, depression and unhappiness unravel and resolve into greater peace. One begins to know oneself as bigger than the problem. I teach cognitive behavioral skills of mindfulness, centering and focusing to allow a greater repertoire of responses to habitual problem areas. I provide a safe place to explore one's deeper self and resolve issues that block happiness and the realization of potential.

Psychology of the True Self, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Existential and Transpersonal Therapy, IMAGO Relationship Counseling, compassionate, non-judgmental and client-centered approach. In couples counseling, partners learn to encounter each other in healthy, conscious ways.

I have training in Psychology of the True Self, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, IMAGO Relationship Counseling, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Mediation, Structural Family Therapy, and am very comfortable with the spiritual aspect of life and have a deep respect for all religions. Internet Zoom (video) sessions available.
