About

*Accepting new clients* You are starting therapy because you have the courage to leave behind the familiar in pursuit of something different. In therapy, we will translate this strength into meaningful changes in your life. I am a fully licensed, Harvard-trained psychologist with expertise in post-traumatic stress disorder, race-based trauma/stress, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder. I am also interested in navigating life transitions, role changes and grief alongside my client. You can expect to sit across from a therapist that is warm, authentic and empowering.

As a faculty member at Harvard Medical School, I train residents in evidence-based treatment. In the clinic, I tailor these treatments to each client’s unique needs. I often integrate CBT, DBT, insight-oriented therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. No matter the modality, my approach is always client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.

As a first-generation immigrant, an advocate for social justice and a supervisor for Boston University’s Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology, I have a passion for working with marginalized groups, including immigrants, BIPOC and the LGBTQIA+ community. I enjoy working with teenagers and adults of all identities and I warmly welcome your inquiry.
