My ideal clients are women, 18 and older, who tend to appear to others to “have it all together”. They can carry many responsibilities and can achieve a lot, sometimes making it seem easy on the outside. Internally, these women may feel anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, or exhausted. Sometimes they may struggle in their relationship with their own emotions, with their relationship with food or their bodies, or with alcohol. If you may be one of these women, my goal is to provide you with support, to help you be kinder to yourself, and to help you slow down to enjoy the life that you have created. I provide a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental environment to explore your struggles and to find ways to make life better. My approach is very authentic, direct, and compassionate. I tend to incorporate techniques from different modalities in order to meet your needs best. I recognize how difficult it can be to take time away from other needs, commitments, or things that need to get done. Sometimes it feels like taking the time may make things more overwhelming. Therapy can be worth the time investment if you are ready to feel less anxious and overwhelmed, and you want to start enjoying your life more each day.
