Therapy is about processing, healing, and making healthy changes in behavior. It is a great sign of growth when you no longer feel the need for therapy sessions; it means you were successful in making the changes you wanted. I take this approach to the therapeutic process to make sessions the most effective and most efficient they can be for you. I am EMDR certified and always eager to use it to address a wide range of issues. Other specialty areas include anxiety and domestic violence. For anxiety, I will teach you about a process called safety learning that is radically different from traditional approaches to anxiety such as relaxation techniques. Please contact me with further questions and to discuss services. I am able to do therapy with Texas residents and Alaska residents.
