About

I believe the foundation of any therapeutic relationship is a safe and welcoming atmosphere where clients can be and express their authentic selves. As we go through our lives we may find ourselves burdened by our past, torn by difficult decisions, or struggling to let go of behaviors that do not serve us how we would like them to. In therapy we take a mindful approach of gentle curiosity to welcoming and communicating with parts of our being that have been hurt, neglected or unreasonably burdened and learn skills and techniques to manage inner turmoil successfully.

I use a blend of therapeutic techniques to help in identifying and resolving root causes of suffering and dysfunction. These include: dialectical behavior therapy, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness based therapy.

It is courageous to seek help, and I am thrilled that you are taking steps towards health!
