Navigating the ups and downs of life can be exhausting and confusing, living day to day with the stresses of life weighing down on your shoulders. No two people’s struggles will be the same: Maybe you are learning to handle grief after losing a loved one. You might be struggling to adjust to an unfamiliar environment after having left your home country. You may struggle with cultural differences between you and your partner. Or perhaps you can’t put a finger on what your core problems are. Finding a welcoming space in which you can discuss your personal issues and concerns, free of judgement, may seem an insurmountable challenge. But life doesn’t have to stay this way; like a lotus, anyone is capable of blooming through the mud. With 30+ years in the field, I have plenty of experience working with people from all walks of life, from first responders to formerly incarcerated individuals. I’ve worked in correctional facilities, crisis centers, and in and outpatient settings. I also have experience working with individuals with depression and anxiety disorders, interracial relationships, immigrants and refugees, dually diagnosed individuals, and grief. I want to help you bloom into the best version of yourself possible. Together, let’s focus on what’s right with you, not what’s wrong with you. Your healing journey starts today.
