About

I work with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, addressing concerns like anxiety, depression, and addiction. I also help with issues around careers, desire, and creative work. Many experience feelings of shame, guilt, and a lack of direction, which often affect their relationships with others and their work, family, and romantic lives. My sessions involve focused talk therapy. By unpacking personal narratives—including day-to-day feelings—we aim to understand the underlying forces in these stories. I use a psychoanalytic approach influenced by Lacan and Freud, focusing on how the unconscious shapes behavior.

Clients are encouraged to speak freely, allowing insights and humor to emerge naturally. Our sessions use the unconscious as an anchoring point, helping us move beyond collective identities to alleviate emotional pain. We connect past patterns to current concerns like work-related stress or intimacy difficulties.

Psychological symptoms reveal underlying desires, conflicts, and pain from personal history, which become clear during analysis. I provide a confidential, non-judgmental, and creative space where the intimacy of our sessions facilitates significant life changes. Though the process can be challenging, it is liberating, offering a way to begin anew.
