Life is full of surprises. No matter how much you prepare and plan, unexpected events may occur. I believe that therapy is an essential tool to help prepare you to cope with the unexpected as well as the stressors of everyday life. I am passionate about normalizing therapy by educating people on the benefits and necessity of having an unbiased listening ear to help work through life events. I strive to provide a comfortable environment where clients feel safe to share their most vulnerable thoughts and ideas. I will work as an advocate to help my clients become empowered in their ability to cope with whatever life throws at them. I utilize a person-centered approach to therapy where clients will learn to unlock their own potential and ability to handle anything that life throw’s their way. I believe that the best way to help clients is to engage, educate and empower. As a therapist I strive to help navigate clients to a sense of positivity and self-sufficiency. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults. I have been trained to work with youth who identify as members of the LGBTQ community and their families. I have also worked with victims of human trafficking, and individuals who are suffering with grief, substance abuse issues, anxiety, and depression.
