Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Whether you have been thinking about therapy for a while or have recently gone through a difficult time, being in therapy is a good resource to resolve concerns. I have helped many people experiencing high levels of stress , feelings of depression and anxiety or who have turned to substance abuse/addiction. Often coping skills that were once effective no longer work and we become frustrated and isolate ourselves. It can be difficult to get through the day. I have worked with many people like yourself and helped them talk about their concerns and grow by identifying their strengths and helping them resolve their concerns. I have over 30 years of experience in a variety of service settings. I use a comprehensive approach using Ego Supportive, and Family Systems Theories. I enjoy working with people with substance abuse problems, codependency and with symptoms of depression and anxiety, trauma histories and chronic pain. In addition to a general therapeutic practice, I am offering Therapeutic Climbing to assist in recovery from depression, anxiety, stress and substance abuse. This powerful technique accelerates personal growth. I am offering a group specific to women and an early addiction recovery group. Please call for more information.
