I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience. I work with a variety of issues affecting adolescents and adults. I have a particular speciality in helping girls and women who are having difficulties adjusting to major life changes. My areas of expertise include eating disorders, relationship issues, and social and school adjustment. I believe that at its core, therapy is about learning to understand yourself. It's about exploring where you came from and determining where you want to go. It's about feeling like you "make sense" to yourself. I generally use a psychodynamic therapy approach, meaning we explore your thoughts, feelings, and actions and place them in the larger context of your life history. I am also skilled in a variety of other psychotherapeutic modalities, such as CBT, supportive therapy, play therapy, and EMDR.
