I’m Dr. Caroline Schmidt, a licensed psychologist and experienced psychotherapist. I help people who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, and relationship problems. I use a strength-based approach in psychotherapy, helping my clients understand how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors interact to affect their well-being. I help them develop emotional intelligence so they are better able to cope with the stressors in their lives. Through psychotherapy, my clients begin to feel more confident, hopeful and fulfilled. I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I have acquired clinical experience at Northwestern University, Marquette University, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Aurora Psychiatric Hospital. I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples, treating both adults and older adolescents.
