Each person has the capacity for personal growth and change. As much as we are shaped by the world, every person contains within us the ability to mold who they are from the inside out. Through self-exploration one can uncover the forces that shaped the way you see the world, and recognize and finally push back on these externalities. Regardless of its origin, the experience of life and what we do and not do with the emotions we feel in response to it becomes an integral part of the lens through which we see the world and our place in it. Negative experiences, intense, and sometimes even commonplace occurrences, can leave us feeling unheard or invisible. Our reactions then turn into narratives that become the driver to our lives without us even knowing it. I became a therapist because I have always admired how people can endure tremendous pain and still keep moving forward. Through my work, I continue to be amazed and humbled by people's inner strength and ability to heal. It's an honor to be able to hear their stories and listen to what they carry, no matter their age. I'm not here to ‘cure’ or ‘change’ you; my hope is that you learn to trust me through our theraeutic journey so that I help facilitate your own personal growth.
