However, these transitions can be difficult and can lead to debilitating symptoms like anxiety, depression, and anger, etc. Perhaps these are not happening to you, but you notice them in your child and are unsure of how to help. So, even though therapy can be intimidating, it can be the risk you need to take, to move forward towards the positive outcome you desire. I am a Latinx therapist providing trauma-informed and culturally sensitive counseling services in Spanish and English from a holistic and strengths-based approach. I am a registered play therapist and supervisor (RPT-S). I'm certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting. I also have experience working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, individuals suffering from adverse effects of traumatic experiences, children with emotional dysregulation and behavioral symptoms, and assisting parents in developing strategies to best support their child’s needs. My goal is to provide a warm, genuine, and accepting space.
