I have been in practice for many years, yet I still consider my work a privilege. My focus is consistently on helping clients achieve their own goals, adapting my approach to their needs. I hope that my experience and enthusiasm combine to make me effective. I also believe that life is serious enough and that even the most dire of situations will have an opportunity for the use of humor. I have extensive experience working with mood and anxiety issues, as well as a specialty in treating the full spectrum of eating disorders. I also see many who, in mid life or later, may find a need for help in negotiating unexpected transitions. The mutual goal for all is always a deeper self understanding and hopefully, improved self-esteem. I welcome the opportunity to speak with potential clients by phone to establish whether we would be good fit for working together. I’m happy to take the time for both of us to get a sense of the other, because feeling comfortable with each other is crucial to building a trusting relationship.
