I work with clients looking to overcome and sustain changes in life. I've spent nearly four decades learning and teaching at the former St. Vincent’s Hospital dept. of Psychiatry in Manhattan’s West Village treating children, adolescents and adults. The issues: family crises; trauma; learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, Asperger's syndrome; mood instability and the paralyzing effects of anxiety/panic. It takes grit, patience and faith in growth. My primary goal is to set in motion and secure improvements. Those improvements are the product of dedication to progress; post graduate training and work with a diverse population of patients. Experience has taught that simplifying treatment shortens its course. I seek to provide a sound nurturing space for all patients struggling with life's confusion, mood instability, anxieties. My work with children provides insights and a thorough knowledge of human development.
