About

I strongly believe you should feel comfortable with the therapist you choose and hopeful about therapy. When you feel this way, therapy is more likely to be beneficial to you. I treat each person I work with as an individual, with your own unique experiences and circumstances. Collaboratively, we decide what problems we will work on and the type of work we will do to facilitate change, healing, and growth. For new clients, I offer a free initial consultation by phone. This gives us a chance to see if we would feel comfortable working together.

I do different kinds of work based on what people need. I have training and skills to help with symptom relief and to explore the roots of symptoms. Together, we decide what approach (solution-focused or insight-oriented, short- or longer-term) will be most helpful for you.

I work with individuals struggling with anxiety/stress, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, personal growth, changing ineffective patterns, self esteem, trauma/abuse, balancing multiple demands, and women's issues. Therapy provides a particular context, through specialized skills and a collaborative relationship, in which individuals can heal and grow.
