My goal is to create a space for you to feel deeply understood. I believe that compassionate connection is the foundation of healing and understand that it takes a great deal of courage and trust to engage in therapy. During the process of psychotherapy, I will help you to uncover your strengths, better understand the factors that may contribute to destructive behaviors, and articulate the thoughts, feelings, and memories that may be keeping you stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. As a licensed psychotherapist, I use my post-graduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy to work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, career changes, emotional dysregulation, relationship issues, parenting, grief/loss, and trauma. I also have specialized training in behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices. I am attentive and empathic; as a former professional actor, I understand the challenges and triumphs of a life in the arts. Together we can develop a therapy that is uniquely yours, to help you live with more joy and clarity.
