Our daily lives are filled with changes, both planned and unforeseen, which cause us stress. Relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and substance use tend to be the effects of various levels of stress playing out in our lives. We need to be able to change how we think and what we do to alleviate our stress; make our lives better by adjusting ourselves to the daily challenges. Some challenges can be overcome; others have to be endured for a time. I'm here to help you make these adjustments and create solutions for the stress you consistently find in your life. I will listen intently, point out the areas that you are already adjusting well, and help you change the areas that are not moving you forward. We all need someone in our lives who will listen to us, engage us positively, and see us without judgment. My goal is to create an environment that allows you to vent your frustrations, express your emotions, and take a small break from the world, so that you can eventually feel better.
