Therapists » Pre-Licensed Professional
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? I work with individuals over the age of 18, many of whom are navigating issues of identity and self-worth or are struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. I also work with clients who are searching for a way to heal from PTSD, childhood and/or relational trauma. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ clients and those who identify as trans/queer/gender expansive, as well as with people who are healing from religious trauma and/or spiritual abuse. As a therapist, I believe that we can have healthier, more satisfying relationships with ourselves and others when we can understand how our past experiences influence the present. I work from the understanding that you are the expert on your own life; my role is to help you identify and hone your own unique strengths and sense of resilience. I aim to create a collaborative, compassionate, and nonjudgemental space where a sense of humor is welcome. Clients of mine know they can show up as themselves and feel confident that all parts of them will be welcome, accepted, and even celebrated. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you and hear your story as you begin your healing journey.
