I don't really have an ideal client as I am open to working with anyone who is willing to work with me. I have a wide variety of experiences and enjoy working with people. I do like working with people who are engaged and ready to work on issues. I am a retired Army counselor who received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maine in Orono in 2007. I have been working in the mental health field since 1979 and am currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Certified Clinical Supervisor. I am ready to work with you to start your journey to your best life. What does that look like and let's do the work to get you on that path. I am trained in CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement and Desensitization Therapy (EMDR). Whether your problem is just mental health related or substance use we can work on it together.
