Seeking therapy can be an overwhelming and scary step, so just the fact that you’re here reading this now says a lot about your readiness to take steps forward in life. I help individuals struggling with depression, grief, anxiety, the stress of life and tough transitions, and relationship issues. I also work with athletes and musicians who are struggling with grief and loss after an injury or a transition away from their ability to play and perform. I help people make meaning out of confusion, become more in touch with themselves and their needs, and I simply provide a safe, warm environment in which to explore life and grow. As a therapist, I like to focus on the relationship first. I believe that the greatest growth and healing happens in the context of community and relationship, and that is part of what I provide. In therapy, I also help clients explore the root causes behind the issues they experience and how we can then make changes based on a deeper understanding of self. If it sounds like I might be a good fit for you or if you have more questions about me or the counseling process, you can reach out to schedule a session or brief consultation with me where you can learn more. Our office is located in Maryland Farms just off of Maryland Way.
